consultancy agreement

A consultant is a third party engaged by the business to provide specific products or services for specific projects. For example, a marketing consultant, IT consultant or business development consultant.
Engaging a consultant is an alternative to bringing on a full or part time employee. This can often provide the flexibility and cost-savings required by new businesses. However, like an employee, a consultant will need an agreement to regulate the relationship between the business and the consultant. Sometimes a consultant may provide their own terms, which is fine, we’d also be happy to review those and suggest any additional protection you might need.
